About Home Hero Jen

Life, Hope & Home

Over the years, I became Branch Manager at Century 21 Beutler & Associates managing 150+ agents, earned my Managing Broker license, and worked hands-on with wonderful agents, sellers & buyers. Through it all, I was learning what makes a house feel like home, not just what makes it sell. But I was also learning something deeper: people don’t just need help with their spaces. They need hope when life feels uncertain, encouragement when they’re starting over, and permission to believe it’s never too late.

What You’ll Find Here

Now? Home Hero Jen is where I share all of that. This blog isn’t about square footage or staging tips for sellers. It’s about giving you a space to feel inspired, grounded, and supported through ALL of life’s transitions. You’ll find:

  • Real talk about empty nest, aging, feeling invisible, and starting over
  • Encouragement for when you feel like a failure (spoiler: you’re not)
  • Practical home decor tips that make a big impact on a tiny budget
  • Product roundups that make your space feel like you
  • Weekend project ideas that turn overwhelming into doable
  • Honest conversations about living with ADHD and navigating midlife

Beyond the Blog

Outside of work, I love spending time with my family (including four amazing grandsons), disc golf, sprint car racing, campfires, and puzzles. I also served on the Spokane Association of REALTORS® Grievance Committee because even after 22 years, I still believe ethics matter.

So if you’re looking for life and home inspiration that’s practical, honest, and backed by real-world experience from someone who’s been through hard seasons and come out stronger? You’re in the right place.
